This is a true heater with quality and savings
Date:October 31, 2012
I bought my heater 2 yrs ago and the past 2 winters have not had to use my baseboard heaters at all. I have baseboard heater through the house and we all know they eat electric like crazy. So new to home owning world I gave this heater ago. I will tell you right now the heater dose a excellent job heating a 1000sqft 1 story house that was built in 1979 with 13 inches of insulation in the attic which helps. Energy cost for this unit running all day is extremely cheep. I have seen other units sell for the same price at other BIG name stores but this is real wood outer shell that looks like a piece of furniture. Looks good, very quite, and reasonably cost to run i would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a good heater for the winter. thank you.

Doesn't heat our family room
Date:July 29, 2012
I've never written a review before, so here goes. Our family room is in the basement and partial finished and living in Maine winters can be quite extreme. We purchased this heater last year. It's nice looking and very quiet but didn't really make the room cozy or warm enough. The room is a 400 square area. My electric bill seemed to increase. Perhaps a smaller room in addition to another form or heat.

AHMAZING HEATER!
Date:October 3, 2011
I say AHmazing because within just 2hrs of plugging it in the temp in my house went up 3degrees and as I could feel it warming the room all I could say was Ahhhhh. I love how if I want it to be a little warmer I dont even have to get up from the comfort of my seat thanks to the remote control feature :-) All in all a great product. My grandfather recommended it to me and he said he's saved so much money the last couple winters since he's started used it. I cant wait to see the savings start rolling in!

buyer beware

Freinds, this is a glorified electric heater. you cannot change the laws of thermodynamics. 1500 watts of power input is equal to 5100 BTU's. the average furnace for a house is 40,000 t0 120,000 btu's. check the name plate of your furnace it will have the OUTPUT rating. This is what it takes to heat the entire house.this unit is great for room by room heat but to buy one or two and try and heat the whole house is money wasted. For spot heating applications like a room no bigger than 14x14 it is fine.

This heater is great!!
Date:February 26, 2011
My dad and sister bought me one of these for my birthday. I live in a mobile home and have tried many heaters in the past only to see my electric bill skyrocket, and little or no extra warmth.
This heater has cut my lp usage by ONE HALF, and my electric bill has gone up only $30 per month. This is a great trade off as I live in Pennsylvania and our winters have been colder than usual lately. For once, I feel warm and comfortable in my home with no worry that it is costing me a small fortune. I leave the heater on at all times, but do adjust my thermostat on my furnace to kick on to keep my pipes from freezing.
I would gladly tell anyone what a great product this is.

I don't get it.
Date:December 5, 2010
I'm not sure where all the good reviews come from but I did not and do not see any savings. We have a new house built in 2004. We heat a total of 1600 sq ft. When I purchased these, I was told I would need two of them to heat that much space because, just 1 would run all of the time. So I bought 2 and they both ran all the time. I work for the power company so I was excited to give my company more of my business and shut my LP furnace down... I read my meter then plugged these heaters in. I kept the setting at around 68 to keep it comfortable. I used almost 300 kilowatts in 3 days. That turns out to be almost 12 dollars per day. I can heat with LP for 5-8 dollars per day in the winter.
I usually use around 500 kw in a month, this month I used 1800.
I don't get it. Returning them tomorrow on the 30 day trial mark, hopefully I won't have any trouble. I'll let ya know if I do.

Amazing

Worth every penny. No need for propane this year. Live in northern Michigan. We're trying to get by on just these heaters for our home. Have to get up at night to turn down the heat in the bedroom. Got electrical bill after one month of use and bill is actually 10 dollars cheaper than month before. Figured out it cost me 10 cents an hour to run this heater. Also buy the warranty on the elements. Will pay for its self in one replacement. Great deal. I'm gonna get more for other rooms in the house. So excited.

Comfort Furnace Infrared Heater
Date:October 29, 2010
Wow, what a great item. We bought this 10/7/2010 for a garage type structure we are building. Since it isn't ready yet, we have been using it in the house and haven't turned the heat on yet. It was in the low 30's last night. We are going to buy a second one this week to keep in the house. I can't wait to get my next heating bill to see how little we spent.

Great Heater!
Date:October 29, 2010
I've had this heater for 2 weeks now and it does a very nice job of heating a large area. It really does keep the whole area warm and toasty. I set the Comfort furnace heater at 69 degrees and my home furnace at 65.
My home furnace has not had to kick in yet with these settings. I have a natural gas furnace so I get both electric and gas bills to pay every month. The gas bills are brutal through the winter. I expect to save a bundle this winter on my gas bills.
