Robust, and Well Built
Date:May 2, 2011
Purchased this 5 foot cutter for 30HP Diesel Kubota. Loaded it in my fullsize bed pickup - cutter wheel first. No problems getting it home. Took 3 hours to assemble and service. Need 1-1/4" and 1" size wrenches and gear oil. All welds look great, all iron supports looked overdesigned in size, bigger and thicker than needed. thats good! Instructions we easy to follow with plenty of pictures for assembly and leveling. I'm cutting 10 overgrown acres of pasture with a few pine saplings, thick and tall grass weeds. Works great. Plenty of strength. I'm a mechanical engineer. Gear box is identical to KK. Steel is the same gauge as KK. No complaints.

Love it!

I love this cutter. It works great behind my 32 HP John Deere and makes quick work of cutting my 7 acres. I have cut really thick, tall, wet grass and it never bogged down. I have also cut oleanders without a problem. I have only broke one shear bolt and that was the very first time I started it up because I had the RPM's set at 540 when I engaged the PTO. I now set the engine at idle speed before engaging the PTO on the cutter. The shear bolt was easy to replace and I was back in business in a matter of minutes.

AWESOME

Bought this rotary cutter earlier this month to put behing our Allis Chalmers D-12 to cut down about three acres of tall field grass and pine saplings. It is a good piece of gear to have. It took down Pine saplings up to one in diameter and basically mulched them up. The cutter is heavy duty and 5 feet is about right. The only thing to watch out for is the plastic on the PTO shaft. i.e. the guards. mine split off about ten min after we started. overall i would and will reccommend this product to anybody that has more than an acre of land and has black berries and small stumps and pine saplings. it really has exceeded my expectations

A good value

The 5 foot rotary cutter works like a champ, and thus far has taken on some hidden stumps without problem or impact. The unit should come with the guard kit, which is rather pricey for two metal bars with pre-drilled holes, two pieces of rubber and the necessary bolts. The rubber wears out quickly, so save the money and fabricate your own

Good little bush hog mower!
Date:May 12, 2010
These are a 5ft Big Bee rotary cutter modified slightly for TS. They have two braces going down from the A frame; instead of the single system that BB uses on there model AG 60 . And these are painted yellow............instead of Red. There are good units; and looks like TS made them beef it up slightly. These are comparable to a Howse or a Kodiak etc............ they should not be compared with a
Woods or a real Bushog brand but then again those cost about double! For normal; light duty mowing; these are fine.
If you are going to cut 10 acres of Alders you are NOT goine to be satisfied you are going to need a HD bushog...........
