I researched and learned way more about dog food than I ever thought I would. I recently purchased an english Bulldog and wanted to find a quality dogfood. Although the manufacturer had a recall a few years back, I believe they have fixed a few of their previous issues and I am not concerned with that now. The ingredients are highly rated with the lack of gluten and corn, and other fillers. The animal meat and fat content is good. My pup likes this food and his coat looks great. He has had no issues with allergies and the food seems to agree with him. He is growing well and very strong.

Quality at a Good Price

My lab mix puppy was provisionally diagnosed with a corn allergy at her very first vet visit. After asking me why I was feeding with Purina Puppy Chow, and my confession that it was a decision entirely based on price, the vet recommended Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy--corn, wheat and soy free. My dog has thrived on this food--and all her allergic symptoms disappeared. Plus, Diamond Naturals LBP is actually a better value than Puppy Chow!

Great food at a good price

I selected this food for my LSGD as it is AAFCO Nutrient compliant. My pups love it and are growing nicely. I do mix in 1/2 bag of Adult food per my vet. the ingredients are better than any of the brand foods you get at the store.

Great For All Dogs

I have used Diamond for years. I started using Diamond years ago when my Shepard mix was allergic to corn. He loved the Lamb and Rice Puppy Food and his allergy went away and his hair grew back in. The other great thing about Diamond Lamb and Rice Puppy Food is that you feed them less than you would other "puppy foods" because the food doesn't have "fillers" in it and that means that the dog doesn't go as much. This is wonderful when you are trying to housebreak your puppy because they go less and their poo isn't lose or soft like with other foods that are corn based! In the end the price is well worth it because it lasts longer than other brands because the amount you feed your puppy is less and the nutrition is utilized in their bodies instead of being passed along as waste. This is a great product and I would tell anyone to try this food!

Great food

Wonderful dog food! I have and English Bulldog, and he loves this food and his coat seems to be improving since he has been it. He is only 4 months old, and I had him Iams puppy chow but wanted something better for him, since he was so expensive, i figured I should put him on the best, i looked at so many reviews! and Diamond seemed to be up there with the top but at a much lower price. They had a recall several years ago but have since become one of the most tested brands. I feel comfortable with them and Hank Loves the puppy chow, Bulldogs do well with lamb because of their skin I intend to put him on the adult lamb and rice rice when the time comes!

Diamond Puppy Food

I have a 4 month old Redtick Coonhound and he LOVES this puppy food! Its just as good as Blue
Buffalo but much more affordable. Diamond has plenty of protein to keep him running around like crazy. We love this food and plan to keep him on Diamond Naturals throughout his puppy and adult life!

Great product for large breed puppies

We've used this dog food for our golden retriever from the very beginning and she is growing into a beautiful adult dog. We always receive compliments about how pretty she is. We believe it’s directly related to the nutrition she’s getting from this product. Highly recommend this dog food for its superior quality.

Good stuff

this is great food. I breed game bred American Pit Bull Terriers that i use for hog hunting and this food is the only one ive found that agrees with all the dogs and has the proper amounts of protein and fat that they need. Although my dogs arent large breed dogs i suggest this food to anyone who truly wants a healthy dog. i feed this to puppies and adults

When we bought our first pure-breed puppy, we researched the best food for her. We looked for a product without fillers or corn. This puppy food was great! Our puppy is almost a year and has a healthy weight with no issues regarding her coat, skin, teeth or eyes - all good things that come from good quality food. And she loves it!

Not just for puppies

While most Lamb formulas skip out on the meat, ergo the protein, this one does not. There are no glutens to throw off the numbers either. The egg product adds to the protein, but it is bio-available and decent quality so thats just fine with us. We use this with adult Pittbulls to give them the extra nutrition they really need.
