Been using a small undersized garden cart with 10" tires for years. Last summer moved 24" maple blocks.Did the Job, -just barely, so I have been shopping ever since. Sale & Reg. Price best on the market, that I have found. Many "Plus" - #1 features. 13" tires a blessing, they are wider, & flater than other carts with 13" tires - for better floatation! & easier pulling ! Poly tub is much sturdier than what I have seen.Tub has stake pockets! for wooden racks for bigger volume! (leaves!) Flat front will help make dumping easier! Tool tray is handy! Going to cut out a hole for coffee mug!, or rivet a coffee holder on the front! Dump design perfect for my garden with 8inch cement border. Since I don't have a lawn tractor, I am thinking of making a new lighter handle! to get rid of the hitch feature (shin banger!). Looking forward to putting down the 12'X20' patio for the Gazebo! (remove Grass, clay, dirt,- put down A1 gravel for base! & move patio stones! - have to haul pails of Grass, clay, & dirt from back yard to front yard to trailer, to haul away. You know Your getting Old when You get this excited about buying a Garden Cart!~ c'est lavie!
It weights 16 #'s, not 12! You JUST LIFT IT & DROP IT! 2' for small blocks, & over Your head for 3' x 18" blocks (maple or oak!) No need to swing it like a 4# axe! The weight does the work! Your wook should be 1.) dry, or 2.) frozen! if wet! If it does get stuck, just hit it with an 8# sledge to split even the big boys! The maul / sledge combination works so well, I got rid of my 10 ton gas splitter! No gas, oil, hydraulic fluid, storage, maintenance & transportation problems. I can carry the maul & sledge into a remote camp, No Problem! THE ONLY PROBLEM I THINK I WILL HAVE WITH THIS IS SOMEONE TAKING IT FOR THEMSELVES! ( I did stamp our names on them! ??? deterant?? My old "Mega Mail" grew legs & walked away!) I am 61 & usually burn 7 to 10 cords a year!
PRODUCT APPLICATION Like the 6' size for garden applications. I was looking for a better solution for tomato, cucumber, cantelope, & honeydew melon cages. I make the cage a circle, 48" in. in diameter, & cut hand holes (3 squares wide, every 12th row around the circle, & every 3rd row in the height. ) I also make open ended semi- circle cages & hang them from the ceiling of my greenhouse. Perfect, so far. The plants climb up them like monkeys, KEEPING THE FRUIT & VEGES OFF OF THE GROUND, which means less rot & bugs, from laying on the ground. ( I don't use pesticides on my garden)
PRICING You have the best price that I could find, as a backyard gardner.
