I had to replace this coupler on my horse trailer. I have no idea why the old one stopped closing but this is the same model as the last. Still works after abour a year with no problems. If you care about how it looks get a can or two of spray paint befor you leave the store and put a few coats on it before you mount it, then touch up after its on. This way will save you a lot of hassle covering up for over spray.

Used strap around a tree to anchor the snatch block for my wench, worked great. Dont let the short length fool you. This is a must have for self recovery!

I got this winch to recover my JD 4720 that was bottomed out in the mud, the location did not allow another vehicle close enough to pull from. I attached the winch to the three point hitch, used the included snatch block connected to a tree and back to the tractor to pull my self out. Did a great job with little effort. The extra long cable is great.
