What a mistake

Considering the price, one would think they were getting a pretty good vise. The workmanship on this vise was terrible. The end cap lacked 1/4" being tight. The handle has 2 threaded ball ends that would not stay tight. The pipe vise will grip a 3/4" pipe, if you remove the jaws of the vise. And it just barely does then. After loosening the 2 screws to turn the pipe vise up, I tightened the screws back down, and one broke a chunk out of the casting. Needless to say, I returned the vise to the store and got my money back.

A tough machine to get the job done!

I have used this several times to prepare for a garden and in my flower beds. The dual direction tines come in handy if you get into some tough roots.
